Event Code of Conduct
At the Caspian Jewellery Show, we want every participant – visitors, speakers, exhibitors,
sponsors, media representatives and staff – to enjoy a safe, respectful and professional
environment. Our fair is a commercial platform and a cultural meeting point. Mutual
respect, safety and ethical values are our foundation.
Our Goal: A Safe & Professional Experience
Everyone has a role in creating an environment where all participants can take part and benefit.
While issues are rare, this Code of Conduct sets out the standards expected at our events. Anyone
behaving in an unacceptable way will be asked – and expected – to stop immediately. We may also
cancel access and remove people from the venue if required.
Safety & Health
- Never act in a way that puts your own or other participants’ health, safety or security at risk.
- Follow local health and safety guidance at all times.
- If you have a fever or contagious symptoms, please do not attend the event.
- Respect all emergency procedures and access rules; do not bypass or disable them.
- Do not block exits, remove safety signage or tamper with protective equipment.
- Report hazards, unsafe behaviour or risks immediately to the event team.
Respectful Environment (Zero Tolerance)
We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards threats, violence, abuse or harassment of any kind at the event, side events or online. This includes:
- Discrimination (e.g. race, sex, age, gender, identity, religion, disability, nationality).
- Offensive language, insults or sexually explicit expressions/gestures.
- Display or distribution of offensive, harassing or discriminatory materials.
- Unwanted physical contact or sexual attention.
- Stalking, unauthorised photography/recording or invasion of personal space.
- Threats or intimidating behaviour (verbal, physical or written).
- Violence, pushing, shoving or physical harassment.
- Possession of weapons or dangerous items.
- Damage to the venue or other people’s property.
Participation & Engagement
- Do not deliberately disrupt or sabotage any part of the event.
- Heckling, catcalling or repeatedly interrupting others is not tolerated.
- Everyone has the right to participate equally and safely.
Acting Sustainably
- Use reusable containers where possible.
- Make use of recycling and sustainable waste disposal points provided at the venue.
Responsible Consumption
- Alcohol, tobacco and other substances may only be consumed in designated areas and under venue rules.
- Anyone acting under the influence in a way that negatively affects others may be removed.
- Do not operate or demonstrate machinery/equipment under the influence of any substance.
Attire & Appearance
- Dress appropriately for a professional trade event.
- Respect local cultural sensitivities; avoid offensive slogans, designs or images on clothing.
Online Conduct
- The same standards apply to our online platforms.
- Do not post defamatory, misleading or offensive content.
- The organising team may remove inappropriate content and take further action if needed.
Reporting Concerns
If you witness or experience behaviour that breaches this Code of Conduct, report it immediately
to the Caspian Jewellery Show Organising Team. Contact details are provided on registration
materials and event documentation.
Enforcement
- Participants violating these rules may be warned or expelled from the event.
- Serious violations may result in exclusion from future IPEK Expo events.
- Illegal actions will be reported to local authorities.
